  69.     A new scheme is now being used to 'register' ALL game(s) with me.  
  70. Instead of having your name encoded into the game, a ".KEY" file will now 
  71. be used and you will be issued an individual "serial number" in which to 
  72. place in the same directory as the door game.  This key file will be in 
  73. ASCII format and contain your name (or BBS name if you so wish) and your 
  74. individualized serial number for registration identification/validation.
  75.  
  76. Every time the game is envoked, the current directory will be polled for
  77. its "key" file and if found will be automatically read in by the program
  78. and your registered name and serial number will be validated and the game
  79. then be unlocked and registered automatically!  
  80.  
  81. With this personal 'key' file, you will be able to immediately register
  82. any and all subsequent releases of this game from ANY BBS you might call
  83. and find an updated release!  This will allow ALL releases of a game to
  84. be immediately registered upon obtaining from me your individualized
  85. serial number for that door game.  One registration is all that will be
  86. needed on a particular game door from me, for as long as I support the
  87. door.  Each different door game will require a separate registration to 
  88. obtain the "key" for that door.

  90. If you wish to only register the version of a Late-Nite door game that
  91. you currently have, then you will NOT require me to send you a disk with
  92. the game on it UNLESS you wish to obtain other games (evaulation copies)
  93. or a current release of the game (if one is available) you are presently 
  94. running, you then ONLY need send $10.00 US for your "Key" file info to 
  95. immediately register your game.

  97. Upon receipt of your registration ammount, I can make available the KEY
  98. file for you to download from my BBS (Late-Nite BBS) and you can then 
  99. place this key file in the current game directory and immediately register
  100. the game without waiting for the mail to run!  We're talking maybe a two
  101. or three minute call to accomplish this.

  103. If you have registered a previous release from me and wish to update with
  104. the new registration format (ie key file) you can write me for your serial
  105. number and create the file yourself with any ASCII editor or just use the
  106. COPY CON (console) DOS command to quickly enter the file directly into a 
  107. DOS ASCII file!  Or, you can call Late-Nite BBS and request the information
  108. in a E-mail msg to me ([F]eedback to Sysop).

  110. To the many SysOps who have registered my doorware on your BBS, I wish to
  111. express my sincere thanks for your integrity and devotion to the true
  112. spirit of Shareware.  It has encouraged me to begin writing more doors...
