  6.        BAUD RATE - The baud rate refers to the speed at which data can

  8.                   computer. When you connect to a BBS you should set
  9.                   your terminal program to the highest baud rate that is
  10.                   supported by both your modem and the BBS.

  12.        DOWNLOAD - Downloading refers to the process of transferring a
  13.                   file (such as a program, graphics image or other data)
  14.                   FROM the BBS TO your computer.

  16.        ECHOMAIL - EchoMail refers to a message which will be sent to
  17.                   other BBSes, allowing you to communicate with users
  18.                   other than just those who call your particular BBS.
