  3.        can discuss issues and hobbies of interest to you.  You can ask
  4.        questions about everything from cooking to science to Word
  5.        Perfect, or just learn a bit more about other cultures.

  7.                The messages on BBSes are classified into different
  8.        message areas, according to the topics of messages in a
  9.        given area. For example, typical message areas might be named
  10.        "General", "Programming", "Star Trek" or "Teens". If you are
  11.        interested in the conversations, the best thing to do is to take
  12.        the time to read the messages in that area.  This will allow you
  13.        to get a feel for what type of conversation is going on there.
  14.        Then, just jump right in and join some of the conversations!
  15.        It might not be easy at first, but before long you'll find you
  16.        are really enjoying it!
