  3. All DAYO  modules were created to  be totally integrated. All
  4. features and options in many modules were created as a result
  5. of  the ideas  and suggestions  from the  many DAYO  users (a
  6. process that continues today). DAYO is truly a user supported
  7. and developed product.

  9. DAYO  is   grouped  into  'Starter   Packs',  'Add-ons',  and
  10. 'Others'.  The  Starter  Pack  includes:  Inventory, POS, AR,
  11. Smart  Reports,   Quotes,  and  Menu.   Add-ons  include  all
  12. supporting  DAYO modules  like  the  End of  Period, Accounts
  13. Payable, Quotes,  MRP, Bar Code  and many more.  The 'Others'
  14. modules include programs that can act as 'standalones' or are
  15. specialized, ie: Time &  Billing, Payroll, Report Writer, and
  16. Membership.

  18. DAYO is  constantly changing & growing!  Each day brings ever
  19. more  changes and  enhancements to  one or  more of  the DAYO
  20. modules.  A new module is always in the works.

  22. Requires: IBM PC (tm) Compatible Computer, 640k RAM, and Hard
  23. Disk.

  25. DAYO Inventory is a  Multiuser Inventory Control, Purchasing,
  26. and  Vendor Maintenance  application. Use  Dayo Inventory  to
  27. create and  maintain an inventory of  any product. Create and
  28. print  purchase orders  on a  standard printer  or a  Hewlett
  29. Packard   LaserJet   (tm).   Receive   purchase  orders  into
  30. inventory,  with  the  option  of  printing  receivers  ('key
  31. recs'), and  inventory tags/price labels.  Maintain a Vendors
  32. database complete with the vendors purchasing history.

  34. DAYO  POS  (Point  of  Sale)   is  a  Billing  and  Invoicing
  35. application for  any size business.  This is a  FULL featured
  36. program abounding with many options and features, ie: Network
  37. Ready/Multiuser  (ie:  Novell  (tm),  LANtastic  (tm),  XBase
  38. compatible    database    format    (.DBF),    Decimals    in
  39. Price/Cost/Onhand,  Auto  Print  invoice,  Default  Tax Code,
  40. Warehouses, Multiple  Prices, Manufacture Items,  Second Tax,
  41. Credit Cards, Automatic GL Posting, and Many, many more!

  43. almost identical, and share the manual...

  45. DAYO  AR  (Accounts  Receivable)  is  the  DAYO  module  that
  46. contains  records  of  all  invoices,  receivables, and sales
  47. data.  It is  the mainenance  and reporting  module for  your
  48. receivables  and  its  related  databases.  DAYO  AR includes
  49. routines to  handle Cash Receipts,  Customers, Invoice Types,
  50. Terms, Taxcodes, Sales Persons, and much more.

  52. DAYO  Smart Reports  contains a  collection of  miscellaneous
  53. reports and routines that  many other software packages leave
  54. out. Some  of the DAYO  Smart Reports actually  write to your
  55. databases (ie: the calculating of the STOCKLEVEL field in the
  56. database INV.DBF).  There are currently  over 70 reports  and
  57. routines in the module.

  59. DAYO  Quotes creates  sales order  quotes based  on the  DAYO
  60. inventory, Customer, and other  DAYO databases. Quotes can be
  61. printed  on  a  standard  printer  or  a Hewlett Packard (tm)
  62. Laserjet   compatible   printer.   Create   quotes  for  your
  63. customers/clients, or  use them to estimate  pricing for your
  64. products.

  66. DAYO Menu is a simple menu  system for use with the DAYO line
  67. of business applications as well as any other program on your
  68. computer.  It   is  multiuser  when   used  on  a   PC  based
  69. LAN/Network. Note: This is the  DAYO standard menu; there are
  70. others!
