  1. To start SSQL, type SSQL.
  2. To stop SSQL, type EXIT.
  3. To get a copy of the documentation:
  4.   1. Turn on your printer
  5.   2. Adjust the paper so the printer head is at the perferation
  6.   3. Type PRINTDOC
  7.  
  8. IMPORTANT!!!!
  9. If you have a previous version of SSQL, you need to run CONVERT to
  10. convert your 2.X .SQD files to the new .SQD files.  To do this, run
  11. CONVERT while you are in the directory which contains the .SQD files.
  12.  
  13. There is a new command called STOPSCREEN which is normally set to ON.
  14. When information is displayed on the screen, it will stop after every
  15. screenful.  If you do not want it to stop, type STOPSCREEN OFF;
  16.  
  17. NEW COMMAND - DOS SHELL
  18. Type DOS followed by a valid command or program and it will be run.  
  19. When you exit the program it will return you to the SSQL prompt.
  20. If you just type DOS and press the ENTER key, it will put you in a DOS shell.
  21. This means that you can do whatever you want in DOS and then return to SSQL
  22. by typing EXIT (and pressing ENTER) at the prompt.

  25. NEW COMMAND - STOPSCREEN
  26. You will notice that if there is more to a query than fits on the screen, it 
  27. will stop and wait for you to press a key.  If you do not want it to stop, type:
  28. STOPSCREEN OFF

  30. If, later, you want it to stop after every screenful, type:
  31. STOPSCREEN ON
  32.  
  33. Every time you start SSQL, stopscreen is on.
