- To start SSQL, type SSQL.
- To stop SSQL, type EXIT.
- To get a copy of the documentation:
- 1. Turn on your printer
- 2. Adjust the paper so the printer head is at the perferation
- 3. Type PRINTDOC

- IMPORTANT!!!!
- If you have a previous version of SSQL, you need to run CONVERT to
- convert your 2.X .SQD files to the new .SQD files. To do this, run
- CONVERT while you are in the directory which contains the .SQD files.

- There is a new command called STOPSCREEN which is normally set to ON.
- When information is displayed on the screen, it will stop after every
- screenful. If you do not want it to stop, type STOPSCREEN OFF;

- NEW COMMAND - DOS SHELL
- Type DOS followed by a valid command or program and it will be run.
- When you exit the program it will return you to the SSQL prompt.
- If you just type DOS and press the ENTER key, it will put you in a DOS shell.
- This means that you can do whatever you want in DOS and then return to SSQL
- by typing EXIT (and pressing ENTER) at the prompt.

- You will notice that if there is more to a query than fits on the screen, it
- will stop and wait for you to press a key. If you do not want it to stop, type:
- STOPSCREEN OFF

- If, later, you want it to stop after every screenful, type:
- STOPSCREEN ON

- Every time you start SSQL, stopscreen is on.
