- Running SupremeSched on a Network
- -----------------------------------------------------------------------
- Version 1.20 is now partially network compatible. What does this
- mean? It will run under certain network operating systems, and then only
- under certain network configurations.
-
- To test the program on your network, do the following:
-
- 1) Install and run the program, does it work?
- 2) If so, run two copies of the program.
- 3) In one copy, enter the Employee View Screen, and
- press <Alt-T>. This will lock the system files.
- 4) In the second copy, attempt to update the Employee
- Database. Either edit and employee, or add a new one.
- 5) Did the second copy give you a network access error?
- 6) In the first copy, press <Alt-Y> to release the files.
-
- If you receive a network access error, then the program will run
- correctly under your network configuration.
-
- We are currently working with a number of users to get SupremeSched
- to run on all network configurations. Please check with us to see if the
- latest version of the program will run under your network system.
