  11.                o    Added the following major functions:
  12.                     -    COPY STRUCTURE, copies  all or selected  fields to
  13.                          new database
  14.                     -    DELETE FILE, to delete any file from the pick file
  15.                          window
  16.                     -    PACK, physically deletes records tagged for delete
  17.                     -    ZAP,   physically  deletes  ALL   records  in  the
  18.                          database

  20.                o    The color scheme has been SIGNIFICANTLY changed.  Also,
  21.                     colors  can now  be configured  along with  the hotkey,
  22.                     using POPCFG.COM.   This  program is now  included with
  23.                     ALL REGISTERED  COPIES.   If  you  like the  old  color
  24.                     scheme use command line option /CO.

  26.                o    The force  monochrome colors  command  line option  has
  27.                     been changed from /M to /CM.

  29.                o    The write file  access command line option  /W has been
  30.                     replaced  by  /TW.   You  can  now  change  any of  the
  31.                     "toggle" indicators (file access, field borders, insert
  32.                     mode, case  sensitivity) using the command  line option
  33.                     /T<B,C,I,W>.

  35.                o    Pressing PgDn  while appending  a record will  NOT move
  36.                     back and forth between the last record in the  database
  37.                     and the new record.  This was a bug.

  39.                o    Fixed a  bug, which occurred when  pressing Alt-M while
  40.                     in  an already open READ-ONLY database.   This will now
  41.                     cause an access error.

  43.                o    Fixed a  bug which  occurred when specifying  a default
  44.                     directory  on the command  line (/D)  and did  not also
  45.                     specify the drive.

  47.                o    Fixed  a bug which ignored the action option (/A) if it
  48.                     was  specified  after  the  passthru option  (/P)  when
  49.                     PopDBF was already resident.

  51.                o    When  trying  to  access  PopDBF while  in  a  graphics
  52.                     application, a  chime will sound,  indicating that your
  53.                     request was  heard, but can't be  accommodated.  Pop-up
  54.                     over graphics will be supported in the future.

  56.                o    Ctrl-U now toggles the record delete flag in the Browse
  57.                     window, just like it does in the Edit window.

  59.                o    Negative numbers are now supported.

  84.                o    Arrow  indicators  were  added  to  windows  to provide
  85.                     information on valid directions of cursor movement.

  87.                o    Default action now displays as a descriptive word.

  89.                o    Video routines have been optimized and speeded up.

  91.                o    Hot keys for frequently used databases (Alt-1 etc.) can
  92.                     be  used  from anywhere  in  the  program and  previous
  93.                     positions  and modes  are retained. Also,  Alt-dash and
  94.                     Alt-=  can  be  used  to   access  up  to  12  frequent
  95.                     databases.  In addition, each directory can contain a 
  96.                     .FRQ file so that the frequently used databases can  be
  97.                     application  dependent.  If a .FRQ file is not found in
  98.                     the  current   directory,  PopDBF  will   look  in  the
  99.                     directory where POPDBF.COM is located.

  101.                o    Commercial version  now  includes KBSPEED,  a  keyboard
  102.                     speed-up  program, and  ARROW, a  TSR  position display
  103.                     program, which are NOT included in shareware registered
  104.                     copies.
