  4.           This  READ.ME file  contains a  description of  the files  on the
  5.           disk. It also  includes instructions on how to print out the very
  6.           brief manual and install PopDBF on a hard disk.

  8.           Files on the disk:
  9.  
  10.           INSTALL.EXE -  PopDBF hard disk installation program.  To install
  11.                          PopDBF on your hard  disk, put the PopDBF diskette
  12.                          into a floppy disk drive (i.e. A:) and type:
  13.  
  14.                                    a:INSTALL [d:\path\]directory
  15.  
  16.                          where directory  is the hard disk  directory where
  17.                          you  want  the  PopDBF  program  and  other  files
  18.                          copied.    If  the specified  directory  does  not
  19.                          exist,  it  will  be  created.    The  INSTALL.EXE
  20.                          program itself is NOT copied to the hard disk.

  22.           ORDER.FRM   -  Order form  for  PopDBF.    To use  this  form  to
  23.                          register PopDBF, type the following command at the
  24.                          DOS prompt:

  26.                                    copy a:order.frm prn
  27.  
  28.           POPAID.DOC  -  Short  documentation file  for PopAID,  the PopDBF
  29.                          companion program to create databases.
  30.  
  31.           POPAID.EXE  -  Companion program for PopDBF, which allows you  to
  32.                          create  any dBase  .DBF database.   Works  exactly
  33.                          like dBase CREATE command.
  34.  
  35.           POPCFG.EXE  -  The  PopDBF  configuration  program  to  configure
  36.                          colors and hotkey.
  37.  
  38.           POPDBF.COM  -  The PopDBF  program.   Run POPDBF/H for  help with
  39.                          options.

  41.           POPDBF.DOC  -  This is  the PopDBF  manual, which can  be printed
  42.                          out  by typing  the following  command at  the DOS
  43.                          prompt:

  45.                                    copy a:popdbf.doc prn
  46.  
  47.           POPDBF.HLP  -  PopDBF   context  sensitive  help   file  used  by
  48.                          POPDBF.COM program.

  50.           POPDBF.HST  -  History  of PopDBF  development, features  and bug
  51.                          fixes.  Also previews future features.
  52.  
  53.           READ.ME     -  This file.
  54.  
  55.           VENDOR.DOC  -  Contains Bowen Software's distribution  policy for
  56.                          disk vendors.
  57.  
  58.           WHATS.NEW   -  The  segment  from  POPDBF.HST   (the  development
  59.                          history  file) that  pertains specifically  to the
  60.                          new release.
