  1. Thank you for selecting CD Pro-File.  This is a fully relational 
  2. database manager for compact disks, record and tapes.

  4. This program is SHAREWARE. If you like it and use it, please register.
  5. You will then be on track to get upgrades and special offers. Info
  6. on registration is available from the opening screen.
  7.  
  8. After you have extracted CD Profile with PKUNZIP, run the program
  9. by typing PFILE at the dos prompt.  
  10.  
  11. There is context sensitive on-line help throughout the program.

  13. IMPORTANT!
  14.  
  15. This program requires a CONFIG.SYS file with a minimum of 25 files.
  16. The command line is:

  18. FILES=25
  19.  
  20. Then you must reboot (restart) your system in order for the changes to 
  21. take effect.

  23. If you do not have this line in your config.sys file you may get the
  24. error message :  To many files open.
  25.  
  26. To create a config.sys file use a text editor, and place it in the 
  27. root directory of your hard disk.
