  3. You are encouraged to copy the Aerosoft Fitness Log diskette and share it
  4. freely with others.  You have the luxury of trying out the program at your own
  5. pace and in the comfort of your own home or workplace.  After you have used the
  6. Aerosoft Fitness Log you are encouraged to purchase a licensed commercial copy
  7. from Aerosoft.  Shareware authors are encouraged to design and distribute new
  8. products.  Without it, a great deal of high quality, low cost software will
  9. cease to be available.

  11. Why pay at all?

  15.    *  Notification of updates and new versions
  16.    *  Inexpensive upgrade offers
  17.    *  Notification of new products

  19.    *  A sense of pride and ownership in having honestly
  20.       participated in the Shareware revolution
  21.    *  You help to keep software prices down by supporting a
  22.       distribution method which doesn't depend on expensive
  23.       advertising campaigns.

  25. So please dive in and enjoy the fun of legally sharing good software with
  26. your friends and associates.  But also be aware of the following
  27. restrictions, designed to protect the community of Shareware users and to
  28. prevent greedy people from taking unfair advantage of the trust, hard
  29. work and good will of Shareware authors.  Exceptions to these conditions
  30. must be received in writing from Aerosoft:

  32. 1. No price or consideration may be charged. However, a distribution cost may
  33.    be charged for the cost of the diskettes, shipping and handling, not to
  34.    exceed $10.
  35. 2. The files and programs on the disks may not be modified or deleted.
  36. 3. The programs cannot be sold as part of some other more inclusive package.
  37. 4. The programs cannot be "rented" or "leased" to others.
  38. 5. The end user must be told clearly in writing on the outside of the
  39.    package and in all advertising that the diskette(s) are "Shareware."
  40. 6. The package must contain a written explanation that the diskettes are
  41.    for evaluation purposes, and that an additional "registration fee" is
  42.    expected by the author, if the program is used beyond an initial
  43.    evaluation period.
  44. 7. In the case of distribution via any telecommunications link,
  45.    the following must be done:
  46.     *  X-Modem or some other error checking protocol must be used
  47.     *  All TTT programs (and documentation files) must be transferred
  48.        in a library or archive format.  This means the files have all been
  49.        combined into one file.
  50. 8. Shareware distribution is permitted only in the United States, Canada,
  51.    England, and Australia.

  77.         your name and suitable for framing.
  78.      2) A letter of congratulations from Arnold Schwarzenegger, the Chairman of
  79.         the Council, suitable for framing.
  80.      3) A blazer patch (embroidered emblem) signifying the sport or fitness
  81.         activity in which you earn your award.
  82.      4) A sports bag identification tag, imprinted with the award logo.
  83.      5) A "shoe pocket" to hold your valuables and an identification card while
  84.         your're working out.
