- right arrow keys to move over to the column to be modified and enter the
- values as described below.
-
- PENS
-
- The number of pens that can be selected by the plotter. The maximum number
- of pens that can be entered is 16.
-
- XSIZE AND YSIZE
-
- These sizes are described in thousands of an inch. For example, 8.0 inches
- is entered as 8000. These values are used in the CAM routine to determine
- the size of the paper that is in the plotter. It is recommended that the
- values entered into these columns not exceed the maximum plotting area of
- the pen plotter. If you are using a large plotter to plot on small sheets,
- you must set these values to the size of the paper, not the size of the
- plotter.
-
- PEN WIDTH
-
- The pen size is described in thousands of an inch. For example, .016 inches
- is entered as 16. This value represents the width of the pen tip that is
- being used for plotting. This value is used when processing an artwork
- quality pen plot to determine the required number of pen strokes to fill the
- tracks, pads and copper.
-
- ROTATION
-
- The rotation value can be a 0 or a 1. A value of 1 is used for pen plotters
- that require the paper to be rotated when plotting on smaller sheet sizes.
