  19.     This feature allows you to rapidly update the
  20.     entries in a data file manually.  You can always
  21.     use a text editor to do this, but UPDATE A FILE
  22.     is designed to be a fast, error free method for
  23.     entering routine data.

  31.     This screen lets you to rapidly update your
  32.     file with current data.

  34.     When entering the date, you must put a zero in front
  35.     of the single digits, i.e. 02/02/91, NOT 2/2/91. 
  36.     Pressing enter at the end of each line moves you to 
  37.     the next data entry line.  F7 stores your updates
  38.     to disk.  Don't worry, errors can be repaired later 
  39.     by choosing the the Editor at the main menu.

  46.     Enter the name of the data file you wish to create.
  47.     (CAUTION: If you enter the name of a file you already
  48.     have, it will be over written!)  CREATE A FILE will
  49.     then open a new file and ask you for the first data
  50.     entry.  You can continue adding data, or save the file
  51.     and go to UPDATE A FILE at the main menu.

  59.     Choose the correct data type for the data you'll
  60.     be entering. If you want to create a file that
  61.     contains the high, low, close and volume of a stock,
  62.     choose HILOCLOS.  For an issue which has only a
  63.     closing price, choose SING.  For price and 
  64.     volume per record, choose CLOS.

  66.     The file will then always be presented to you in
  67.     the correct entry format, and will be graphed 
  68.     properly.

  74.     data of your new file. You can stop anytime and
  75.     save your new file - then go to UPDATE A FILE to
