INTRODUCTION POS is a point-of-sale and invoicing computer program designed to automate a retail bookstore or simular business. POS can print invoices (sales receipts) for customers, handle Paid-Outs, charged sales and received on accounts (anything a cash register normally does and more! Pos can even generate price quotations. The program keeps track of inventory and customer account information. Various reports can be printed, they include daily, monthly, yearly sales reports, inventory re-order reports, inventory on hand reports, fiscal inventory reports, Customer sales reports, Customer activity reports, mailing lables and many more reports. Income is recorded on a daily, monthly, and year-to-date basis. These totals can be printed at any time and have password protection. POS produces many printed reports such as inventory item lists, item below reorder level, customer list, and will print price labels for your inventory and sales receipts. The shareware version of POS can hold 1,000 inventory item ISBN numbers, 500 customer accounts. The registered version can hold 100,000 inventory items and 100,000 customer accounts.
