  3. To install Calendar Mate on a hard drive:
  4.  
  5. 1) Create a new subdirectory on your hard disk with the commands
  6.     C:
  7.     CD \
  8.     MD CALMATE4
  9.  
  10. 2) Copy the contents of the distribution disk to this new subdirectory
  11.    COPY A:*.* C:\CALMATE4
  12.  
  13. 3) Run the setup program to choose the appropriate print driver,
  14.    calendar language, date format and program window colours. Type in
  15.  
  16.    CD \CALMATE4
  17.    SETUP

  20. To install Calendar Mate on a floppy disk system:
  21. 1) Copy the contents of the distribution diskette to a fresh diskette.
  22.    Put the distribution diskette in the A drive, a fresh diskette in
  23.    the B drive and type in

  25.    COPY A:*.* B:
  26.  
  27. 2) Run the setup program to choose the appropriate print driver,
  28.    calendar language, date format and program window colours. Put
  29.    the newly copied diskette in the A drive and type in
  30.

  35. If you are currently running an earlier version of Calendar Mate,
  36. please note that the format of everything has changed; the event
  37. file, the parms file and the print drivers are all incompatible
  38. with different versions and you MUST run SETUP to convert the
  39. data files.

  41. For SETUP, it is absolutely CRUCIAL that you are not in a
  42. different directory than all the files otherwise unpredictable
  43. results will occur.

  45. After SETUP has executed, type in CALENDAR to start Calendar Mate.
