  13.      IBM or compatible computer with 256k or more (that's right, 
  14.      only 256k), equipped with a MONO, CGA or EGA monitor.

  94.    The ALITE diskette should contain the following files:

  107.    To install the program follow the instructions below:

  109.    1. Start your computer and make sure you are at the dos prompt.
  110.  
  111.    2. Insert the ALITE diskette in Drive A or B.  
  112.  
  113.    3. Type A: (or B:, depending on step 2, above) and press ENTER
  114.  
  115.    4. Type TINSTALL, press ENTER and follow the on-screen instructions.

  119.    STARTING THE PROGRAM
  120.    --------------------
  121.    The information provided below is to help you start the program for 
  122.    your hardware configuration.  For more details about the operation 
  123.    of the program press the F1 (function) key once you have started 
  124.    the program. (Make sure you have installed the program using 
  125.    TINSTALL, as explained above).

  135.    ALITE is started from DOS using the command:

  137.    ALITE /Option1/Option2/Option3/.....     [ENTER]

  139.         Available Command Line Options
  140.         ------------------------------
  141.     /H     - Enables graphics for Hercules
  142.     /E     - Enables graphics for EGA
  143.     /ATT   - Enables ATT display graphics
  144.     /Q     - Quick screen updating for CGA
  145.     /V1    - Force CGA mode on VGA monitor
  146.     /NT    - No Keyboard Turbo (Eliminates conflicts with some programs 
  147.              that directly manipulate the keyboard registers)

  150.    ALITE may be set-up to run from any directory (usually on a hard disk 
  151.    system).  The way to do that is to:
  152.  
  153.         a.  Include the ALITE directory in your DOS path, and
  154.         b.  Set the environment variable ALITE as follows:
  155.             At the DOS prompt type 
  156.  
  157.                    SET ALITE=Drive:\Directory
  158.  
  159.             For example, if ALITE is installed on your drive D and 
  160.             in a directory called ALITE then the SET command would be:

  162.                    SET ALITE=D:\ALITE

  164.    For details on using the program, please make sure you print out 
  165.    the on-disk user's manual, ALITE.MAN (approx. 65 pages).  This file 
  166.    is extracted for you during the installation process and is a formatted 
  167.    and ready to print on any printer using 60 or more lines per page.
