  10. DESCRIPTION

  12. Splitty enables you to split large files into smaller ones that 
  13. can be regrouped later to reconstitute the original file.  It is 
  14. particularly useful for sending large files over unreliable 
  15. networks, and for saving large files to floppy disks or other 
  16. modest storage media.

  21. - v1.5 on 06/16/97: Updated installation procedure and package 
  22.   information, added support for floppy disk operations, split files 
  23.   verification, and enhanced data validation (although there haven't 
  24.   been any complaints).

  30. - Windows 95, Windows NT v4.x, or later version.
  31. - Enough free disk space to accommodate the software (generally less

  42. INSTALLATION

  44. Run the SetupSplitty.exe file, then follow the instructions.

  47. UNINSTALLATION

  49. Click the Start button, select Settings, Control Panel, then click
  50. the Add/Remove Programs item.  Proceed by double-clicking the line 
  51. corresponding to this product and follow the instructions.

  53. Note that configuration files, generally with a ".dat" extension, 
  54. and registration files, namely "Registration Form.txt", are not 
  55. deleted for your convenience in case you wish to refer to them at
  56. a later date.  Delete these files manually if you do not want them.
