  12. Do you provide or use services that require your Internet connection 
  13. to remain active at all time?

  15. Rascal enhances your dial-up session management and keeps your 
  16. Internet connection alive by simulating network activity and 
  17. restoring the connection if is lost. It is particularly useful for 
  18. for people providing or using Internet services that require a long 
  19. lasting connection. Rascal also tracks your online time and costs.

  26. - v2.0 on 06/22/97: Updated installation procedure and package 
  27.   information, overhauled the product, and added time and fees 
  28.   tracking.
  29. - v1.6 on 11/19/96: Added connection monitoring time-out support.
  30. - v1.5c on 11/3/96: Fixed the "Do not dial-up first" feature.
  31. - v1.5b on 11/2/96: Fixed a bug that prevented the reconnection 
  32.   frequency from being higher than the verification frequency. 
  33.   Consequently, the initial reconnection timing was also corrected.

  37. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

  39. - Windows 95, Windows NT v4.x, or later version.
  40. - Enough free disk space to accommodate the software (generally less 
  41.   than 0.5MB).

  51. INSTALLATION

  53. Run the SetupRascal.exe file, then follow the instructions.

  56. UNINSTALLATION
  57.  
  58. Click the Start button, select Settings, Control Panel, then click
  59. the Add/Remove Programs item.  Proceed by double-clicking the line 
  60. corresponding to this product and follow the instructions.
  61.  
  62. Note that configuration files, generally with a ".dat" extension, 
  63. and registration files, namely "Registration Form.txt", are not 
  64. deleted for your convenience in case you wish to refer to them at
  65. a later date.  Delete these files manually if you do not want them.
