  6. About the Game:

  9. Return to Dinosaure Island is the sequel to the ever popular
  10. "Escape From Dinosaur Island".  In this game you will have to
  11. travel the globe to exotic locals, interview some interesting 
  12. people and work for the Central Intelligence Bureau.

  14. How to play:
  15. ~~~~~~~~~~~~

  17. In return to dinosaur island, you will walk around and pick up 
  18. items, and use items.  
  19.  
  20. Examine:
  21.  
  22. To look at something more carefully, 
  23. click on the examine button and the cursor should change into
  24. a magnifying glass (in the games viewport).  Now click on an
  25. item in the scene to get a full description of what it is.  You 
  26. can also look at things in your inventory more closely by 
  27. clicking on them.  Some items will get blown up so that you can
  28. read them.  When this happens, the cursor will turn into an exit
  29. sign.  When you are finished looking just click in the viewport.

  31. Operate:

  33. To operate an invetory item on an item in the current scene or
  34. another item in the inventory, simply click operate then click
  35. on the inventory or screen item that you wish to operate.

  37. Talking to people:
  38.  
  39. Operate will also let you talk to characters that you will run
  40. in to.  When you operate a person, a dialog window pops up with 
  41. an assortment of hypertext questions that you can ask the person.
  42. When you are done talking, move the cursor to the left of the
  43. screen, the cursor will turn inot an exit sign, and click.

  47. Limited Shareware version:

  50. The shareware version of return to dinosaur island will
  51. allow you to play the first quarter of the game.  You will
  52. be able to save your game througout this period, but can
  53. only get as far as the island itself.
  54.  
  55. As shareware, you may use the game for 30 days free of charge.
  56. After this time, you may either remove it from your computer, 
  57. or register.

  59. Many shareware titles take HOURS to write, so registration is
  60. much appreciated!

  64. The easiest way to register is by clicking on register in the about 
  65. box and having you credit card number ready and be connected to 
  66. the internet.  This will not work with AOL.  To register by credit
  67. card on America Online, simply open up the web browser and enter this
  68. URL : http://islandnet.com/~specter/register.htm and follow the
  69. instructions.
