- Controls are:
-
- Left and Right Only, "Q" to exit to DOS while playing the game
-
- Note: The largest track generated by the track editor (i.e. by covering the
- entire screen) is too larger than the game will play, you will only see the
- first 2/3s of your track.
-
- This game can be installed on a hard disk by simply copying all of the files
- to a directory you make (say "TURBO"), this will allow you to store a LOT more
- made up tracks.
-
- Also note that you can swap disks during the game demo to use a second disk
- worth of designed tracks.
-
- 256k owners! This program uses a lot of memory and if you have 256k and are
- running DOS 3.x then Turbo Champions won't run. Use DOS 2.x instead. Try the
- CGA version, which requires MUCH less memory than the TANDY/EGA version.
-
- When using the track editor, make sure that the NUMLOCK key is down.
-
- Good Racing!
- The object of the game is to stay close to the center line.
- When making a new track use the number pad to change
- directions. Also press enter when making a new track for
- more options (hills, chcanes, etc.)
- Crossing over the track will create a tunnel.
- When finished making a track press "F" for finished.
- If you would like to delete a track you can do so from dos.
- The tracks are stored as MAP1, MAP2, etc.
-
- To exit game press "Q" for quit.
