  10. DESCRIPTION:  EGATrek simulates the captains console of a starship, and
  11. places you in command during an invasion by enemy ships.  Your task is
  12. to conquer all enemy ships in your assigned portion of the galaxy, using
  13. your ship and its weapons as efficiently as possible.
  14.  
  15. You are scored on the time you take to complete your mission (IF you
  16. complete it!), plus other bonuses such as rescues, number of enemy ships
  17. destroyed, etc.
  18.  
  19. REQUIREMENTS:  EGATrek runs in 640x350, 16 color EGA graphics, thus an
  20. EGA card or better (VGA cards support EGA graphics modes) is required.
  21.  
  22. SHAREWARE: EGATrek is distributed as Shareware.  You are free to try the
  23. game and make copies for others.  If you continue to use the game,
  24. however, you are asked to pay the author the registration fee of $15
  25. (plus $2 shipping) to support continued development of this and other
  26. software; in return you'll receive a copy of the latest version of the
  27. game.  A "deluxe" version with binder, printed manual and quick
  28. reference card is available for $22 (plus $4 shipping).  Disk vendors
  29. may include EGATrek in their catalog provided a copy of the catalog is
  30. supplied to the author.

  70. MAHJONGG:  Addictive solitaire game played with Chinese tiles.  Very
  71.            easy to learn but always a challenge to win.  Many game
  72.            options including timed games, tournaments, etc.  Also
  73.            allows loading optional tile sets (tile editor included).
  74.            Supports EGA and Hercules graphics; mouse optional.

  82. TILESETS:  Several collections of tile sets created by various
  83.            Mah Jongg fans are available.  Each collection includes
  84.            at least ten tile sets.  Requires Mah Jongg v3.3 or later.

  86. CIPHER:    A word puzzle game, yet it uses hi-res VGA or EGA graphics
  87.            to run (mouse optional).  Also will run in color text mode.
  88.            Includes over 30 puzzles to solve; registered version comes
  89.            with over 200 additional puzzles.  You can also enter your
  90.            own already encrypted puzzles and additional puzzle disks
  91.            are available.

  93. SHOOT:     "Shooting Gallery" is a colorful arcade game with several
  94.            different rounds to test your aim and reflexes, including
  95.            skeet, quick draw, carnival type shooting range and a wild 
  96.            west shootout.  Uses 320x200, 256 color mode and a mouse to
  97.            play.  Requires VGA or MCGA.

  118. MOUSTOOL:  A collection of utilities for Turbo Pascal programmers
  119.            wishing to incorporate mouse input in their programs.
  120.            Sample programs included for both EGA and CGA graphics.

  122. SOUNDPAS:  A collection of utilities for Turbo Pascal programmers
  123.            to add music and sound effects to their programs.  Includes
  124.            units for interrupt and real time sounds.

  126. BASSTOUR:  (Written by Dick Olsen).  Game that simulates a fishing
  127.            tournament, including rod and lure selection.  Runs in
  128.            EGA/CGA/Hercules graphics modes.  Uses many of the
  129.            utilities from MOUSTOOL.

  131. BASSMAP:   Companion program for BassTour which allows lakes to be
  132.            created or modified.  EGA and CGA versions provided.

  135. These programs are probably available on your favorite BBS or from
  136. your favorite disk vendors.  To register them or to order direct, use
  137. the form in the file "orderfrm.txt" which is all ready to print.  The
  138. "deluxe" version includes the registered software on diskette, plus a
  139. binder and printed manual (some programs also include quick reference
  140. cards).  The standard version includes just the diskette with the
  141. registered software.  You can also use your VISA or MasterCard to
  142. order on-line thru the support BBS, Xevious, at 508-875-3618.  Use
  143. "DOOR 15" to order.
