[EITAL] Sports scholarships of ú700 per year are available for applicants with a national level of prowess or potential in a particular sport. [ITAL] [EITAL]There is a ú40 annual fee to join the Athletics Union which organises student sports. Thereafter there are minimal charges (eg 30p for the sports centre) to use facilities.[PARA][PARA][ITAL][HDNG]SPORTS FACILITIES:[EHDNG][EITAL][PARA]On and around the campus there are 20 acres of playing fields, an all-weather pitch, an athletics track and field, sports hall, swimming pool, 5 squash, 6 tennis and 2 netball courts, a gymnasium and multigym, a climbing wall, rifle range and a lake. Off campus the College offers another 70 acres. The city supplements all this with several repetitions and a bowling green, an [ITAL]excellent [EITAL]dry ski slope, golf course, leisure centre, sauna and solarium.
