Every May, there's the Mayfest, which, although a lot smaller (and more radical) than the Edinburgh Festival, has the advantage of being during term. Also the annual Freshers' Ball.[HDNG]EATING OUT:[EHDNG][PARA]The University lines student tums in the 3 refectories, and [ITAL]there's no shortage of [EITAL]stuffing stops and shovelling shops all round the campus and town centre. Pubs are popular haunts (Pat's Bar offers lunches from ú1.50). The High St has a McDonald's and a Burger King for those who fall prey to the [ITAL]evil [EITAL]mac-attack.
