In the halls, for the few livers in, there are canteens dishing up grub and the Union provides snack machines and titbits from behind the bar. Meanwhile, the Arndale Centre across the road has festoons of fast food fare and there are about 50 other scoff spots around town including restaurants from the farthest corners of the globe. Indian restaurants, [ITAL]notably in Leagrave Road, are particularly good, especially for veggie cuisine, [EITAL] and there are a few rare bites like Arabian and Caribbean cuisine. No shortage of fish'n'chips and there's a 24 hour bakery.
