The SU places[ITAL] considerable emphasis[EITAL] on its welfare role employing 1 counsellor of its own. A nurse is employed to provide medical cover at Calcutta House and Moorgate and a doctor drops in for 2 sessions a week. The University runs a dyslexic support group and health-related workshops, including stress management and controlling eating disorders.[PARA][BOLD]Women: [EBOLD]The Fawcett Library houses an [ITAL]extensive [EITAL]collection material on women and the Suffrage movement (including banners and unique archive material). The University also has a number of links with other organisations promoting women's educational opportunities.[PARA][BOLD]Disabled: [EBOLD]The University encourages advance visits for applicants with disabilities and has its own Equal Opportunities Adviser. There's an improvements programme under way [ITAL]which should mean that most buildings will have reasonably good access.
