[ESTAT][PARA][ITAL]Bearing in mind that Imperial students are entitled to use ULU and[PARA]the University's facilities as well as their own excellent amenities, [PARA]they've got the world at their feet like a football. Many of them [PARA]use the opportunity excitedly, but it's not blanket involvement. [PARA]Although Imperial takes part quite eagerly in national [PARA]competitions, such as rowing at the Henley Regatta, they really [PARA]can't claim to be at the forefront in any particular sport or in [PARA]general. The College lays on buses 2 days a week to get [PARA]there where students can use the pitches, including an all [PARA]weather pitch, and the pavilion. Meanwhile, back at the South [PARA]Kensington ranch, Imperial has a sports centre which is[ITAL] a [PARA]fabulous feat of architecture[EITAL]. It is built underground to save [PARA]space with only a transparent tardis visible on the surface, but [PARA]students have to pay to use the facilities. [ITAL]The cavern down below[PARA]looks like something from The Man from U.N.C.L.E.[EITAL] and includes [PARA]a 25m pool, 4 squash courts, weights room and multigym, [PARA]jacuzzi, projectile hall, health suite and studio. Back above [PARA]ground, Imperial have 2 tennis courts, a shooting range, martial [PARA]arts centre and a boat house at Putney. What's more, the SU [PARA]provides 3 training halls, 2 tennis courts and a free weights room.
