[EITAL][PARA]Students are automatically members of the Athletics Union - they[PARA]have to pay รบ7 a year to do anything. Most facilities are free [PARA]thereafter[ITAL]. [EITAL][PARA][PARA][ITAL][HDNG]SPORTS FACILITIES:[EHDNG][EITAL][PARA]Indoor facilities are available on campus in the Stevenson Building[PARA]where there are squash courts, a swimming pool, saunas and a [PARA]sports hall. Just a short way off is the Kelvin Hall sports centre [PARA]with an indoor running track, fitness rooms, climbing wall and [PARA]multigym. There are 50 acres of playing fields and athletics fields[PARA]at Westerlands and Garscadden.[HDNG]SPORTING CLUBS:[EHDNG][PARA]Aikido; American Football; Women's Basketball; Boardsailing; [PARA]Boxing; Curling; Women's Golf; Handball; Women's Hockey; [PARA]Rifle; Rowing; Women's Rugby; Shinty; Shorinji-Kempo; Sub [PARA]Aqua; Water Polo; Weightlifting; Westerlanders Club.[HDNG]ATTRACTIONS:[EHDNG][PARA][ITAL]Glasgow is one of the world's great football battlefields [EITAL]housing [PARA]both Celtic and Rangers FCs and Glaswegians won't understand [PARA]it if soft southern students can't say which team they support. [PARA]There are 8 [ITAL]lovely[EITAL] golf courses around town feeding the Scottish [PARA]habit and a dry ski slope locally.[PARA][PARA]
