The Guild's somewhat [PARA]limited facilities are based in Devonshire House, shared with [PARA]various University activities. Every vacation, the University takes [PARA]down the signs for Mandela Rooms and Biko Lounges, for the [PARA]conferences, and when term returns the Guild puts them back.[EITAL][PARA][PARA][ITAL][HDNG]SU FACILITIES:[EHDNG][EITAL][PARA]2 bars; a shop; travel agency; coffee shop; the Lemon Grove (cap[PARA]600-1,330); launderette; 2nd hand bookshop.[HDNG]CLUBS (NON SPORTING):[EHDNG][PARA]American and Commonwealth Arts; Amnesty International; [PARA]Ballroom Dancing; Circus Skills; Debates; Duke of Edinburgh; [PARA]Exeter Turf Club (horse racing); Out of Doors; Student Scouts [PARA]and Guides; Winnie the Pooh.[HDNG]OTHER ORGANISATIONS:[EHDNG][PARA]There are 2 student magazines/papers, 'Exepose' and the [PARA]acclaimed 'Third Degree' (both published by the Union), the XTV [PARA]student TV station broadcasting to the bars and an [ITAL]excellent [EITAL][PARA]award-winning radio station. There are also a charity Rag (which [PARA]raised รบ18,000 last year) and a [ITAL]keeno [EITAL]community action [PARA]organisation, employing permanent staff as well as getting [PARA]students involved.[HDNG]RELIGIOUS:[EHDNG][PARA]Anglicans and Catholics don't have to leave the campus to find a [PARA]place to bow their heads and there are numerous chaplains too, [PARA]for most Christian denominations. The town also keeps them [PARA]prayerful, and there's Anglican Cathedral.[HDNG]PAID WORK:[EHDNG][PARA]A few local jobs for students in the tourist trade, and some bar [PARA]work in the Guild.[PARA][PARA]
