The[EITAL] [ITAL]University's a home for limber limbs and mushrooming muscles, winning many a trophy in all sorts of sports. The emphasis is strongest on providing sports for the sporty, but the least likely loungers turn into Mr Motivator in this environment.[EITAL][HDNG]SPORTS FACILITIES:[EHDNG][PARA]If a sport's worth playing, facilities are probably slotted in for it somewhere around the University. The sports centre at Woodland House by the main University buildings houses a gym and facilities for many indoor sports (including a martial arts dojo). The Victoria Rooms are also used for aerobics, dance and fencing. Under the Union Building is a swimming pool and further out, by the halls of residence at Stoke Bishop, and at Coombe Dingle, there are 38 acres of playing fields, a floodlit artificial grass pitch and 16 tennis courts. There are further sports provisions at the halls including squash and tennis courts. Sailors swing their booms down at the Baltic Wharf Marina near the city centre and rowers pull their oars at the boathouses on the Avon.[HDNG]SPORTING CLUBS:[EHDNG][PARA]Boat; Clay Pigeon Shooting; Exploring; Gliding; Hang Gliding; Jiu Jitsu; Korfball; Sky Diving; Snooker; Surfing; Tae Kwan Do; Volleyball; Ultimate Frisbee; Waterskiing; Windsurfing.[HDNG]ATTRACTIONS:[EHDNG][PARA]In Bristol, rugby and football keep the fans flapping. There's Bristol Rugby FC (Filton Ave), and, with round balls, Bristol Rovers (in Bath) and Bristol City FC (Ashton Gate). Nevil Road is the 1st ground for Gloucestershire County Cricket Club and other balls fly at the Redland Lawn Tennis Championship. Greyhounds race at Eastville Stadium and an eye should be kept on the Bristol Packers, the local American Football team.[PARA][PARA]
