  6. To run this demo version click the Intro.exe projector file.  This file 
  7. to Director movies and associated textfiles and media files held in 
  8. the OUPdemo directory. 
  9.  
  10. The current version of the application has been developed on a 120 Mhz
  11. pentium based PC system capable of providing Director with 32 Mb ram 
  12. not has yet been optimised for memory usage or performance on PC's with
  13. a lower specification.  Although the application will run on PC's with
  14. lower specification it is advisable for demonstartion purposes to use 
  15. a similar PC.

  17. The features listed below are still under development and have been 
  18. provided with partial functionality for demonstarte purposes:-

  20. Search window
  21. Search text can be entered and the window moved.  However, the find 
  22. button will only display the "Caves" article in the found items window.
  23. Double clicking on "Caves" or using the "Go To" button will launch the 
  24. "Caves" article.  Filter buttons are currently disabled.  The original
  25. search graphic has not yet been replaced.

  27. Bookmark
  28. This window can be moved and the "Cancel" button operates but other
  29. features are not available.

  31. Indexes and Sub-Indexes
  32. These work with the full selection of articles.  However, it is only 
  33. possible to jump to currently implemented articles. To highlight an 
  34. article in a menu you must click on the text.  This will be changed 
  35. to conform to windows standard interactions in the next release.

  37. The Index type in text box works partially and can be used to select,
  38. or select near, chosen articles.  Click on the item to select then 
  39. either double click or use the "Go Find" button to jump to the 
  40. selected article.

  42. Digital Movies
  43. Movie controllers work.  However, to ensure that graphical objects 
  44. display properly menus and other pop-items are disabled when a movie
  45. is playing.  Click the rewind button, or let the movie finish to 
  46. enable navigation features.
