  6. WELCOME TO NECRODOME!
  7.  
  8.      Necrodome is a gritty, fast paced, car-combat game taking
  9. place in enclosed arenas called Pits.  The setting is the near future,
  10. in a post-apocalyptic society starved for violent entertainment.
  11. The world is now divided into almost feudal-like city-states, each
  12. having its own "Pit," based on the surrounding terrain and the
  13. materials they have on hand. Pits have been built on snow fields,
  14. deserts, and lava flats, to name a few.
  15.      The Driver will be provided with a vehicle suitable for the task
  16. at hand...a fast, armored car (called a Raider) loaded with the latest
  17. weapons and electronic systems.  A Raider is equipped with a main gun
  18. and a turret weapon (which may be fired simultaneously) along with having
  19. the ability to drop mines, emit smoke screens, and the like.  In
  20. addition, the Driver may leap out of his car (equipped with a shotgun)
  21. and enter areas too small for his vehicle, flip switches, grab items and
  22. ammo, or run to safe areas to obtain a new car if his old one is
  23. destroyed.
  24.      Necrodome is a Win95 application and will support single or
  25. duo-network play, with a player able to be either a driver or the
  26. gunner of a car driven by another player.  This in effect allows a
  27. player to hop into the car of another driver and become his turret
  28. gunner.
  29.      The full version of Necrodome will be coming your way October,
  30. 1996, for $39.95 and includes 30 levels along with features and weaponry
