You control Ripley from a first person point of view, and you are
the only survivor from mankind's first encounter with the Alien. Your
ship has landed on LV426 to investigate transmissions from the colonists
who have settled on the Alien planet that have abruptly stopped.
Immediately landing on LV426, your team members are wiped out upon
entering the man made complex. You must now rid the planet of this

GETTING STARTED
To install from DOS:
- Put the Demo CD into your CD Rom drive
- Go to the CD drive
- Type 'INSTALL'
- Follow the prompts
- When the sound drivers have been selected, click on 'DONE'
- To run the game, type 'TRILOGY'
To install from Win95:
- Put the Demo CD in your CD Rom drive
- Double click on the install icon
- Follow the prompts
- When sound drivers have been selected, click on 'DONE'
- To run the game, click on 'TRILOGY.EXE'

- Find & use the auto-mapper to help navigate the levels
- Look out for the arrows on the first level, they will lead you

- Turn the red switches to yellow to unlock doors
- Find the battery to unlock the exit airlock

No Introduction FMV sequence.

The current FMV playback system will not work unless you have a sound card installed. If your sound card is installed and configured correctly please see the specific hardware comments below.

Running from Hard Drive

To run this demo from your hard disk, you must:
1) Run INSTALL as described above.
2) Copy all of the files and the directory structure from your CD onto your hard drive.
3) Edit the file called PATH.TXT and change the drive letter to your selected hard disk drive letter.
