  19. * INSTALLATION:

  21.   Um.. just Unzip it to a directory, run it and off you go!

  23. * INSTRUCTIONS:
  24.  
  25.   Find a friend on the net. One of you goes to NETPong!->Listen and waits.
  26.   The other goes to NETPong!->Connect and enters the IP ADDRESS of the 
  27.   other persons machine then clicks ok. Then sit back n get retro.
  28.   Control the paddle with your mouse. The object is to hit the ball back...

  30.   If you don't know your IP address to give to the person who wants to
  31.   connect to you, you can find it by going to a DOS prompt and typing:

  33.     C:\WINDOWS> winipcfg
  34.  
  35.   Press enter and a little window should pop up telling you what your IP
  36.   is.

  38.   Please note: If there's alot of net lag between you and your oponent it
  39.   will be slow and probably unplayable. Its probably best played on a LAN.
  40.   (Altho I've had some fun games with ppl on the other side of the planet)

  42.   If you find its going too fast you can set the speed by going to the
  43.   NETPong! menu and selecting Options. Then adjust the speed til you find
  44.   it runs better. Please note that only the servers speed will take
  45.   affect.

  49.   I had afew requests that there be a speed control as it was running to
  50.   fast. As I can't afford a decent PC I never got to test it on a fast PC.
  51.   I've added a speed control and I hope it does the trick. Please let me
  52.   know if it doesn't.

  58.   I started to write this a loooooong time ago to see if I could get a 
  59.   program sending and receiving info over the net. I had some fun testing
  60.   it so I rewrote it to make it alittle more stable and added some quick
  61.   scoring and this is the result.

  63.   Thats it basically. It's not very exciting but there was something
  64.   wierdly addictive about it so I thought I'd release it. I very much doubt
  65.   much more work will ever be done on it. It's basically just a test but
  66.   it should lead to other net stuff in the future.
