  1. MICROSOFT MOUSE DRIVER

  3. MICROSOFT SOFTWARE LICENSE

  6. 1.     GRANT OF LICENSE.  Microsoft grants to you the 
  7. right to use and to reproduce and distribute all or a 
  8. portion of the Mouse Driver ("Software") provided that
  9. (i) the Software is not distributed for profit; (ii)
  10. the Software may not be modified; (iii) all copyright 
  11. notices are maintained on the Software; and (iv) the 
  12. licensee/end user agrees to be bound by the terms of 
  13. this Agreement.

  15. 2.    COPYRIGHT.  The Software is owned by Microsoft 
  16. or its suppliers and is protected by United States 
  17. copyright laws and international treaty provisions. 
  18. You may not remove the copyright notice from any copy 
  19. of the Software or any copy of the written materials, 
  20. if any, accompanying the Software.

  22. 3.    OTHER RESTRICTIONS.  This Microsoft License 
  23. Agreement is your proof of license to exercise the 
  24. rights granted herein and must be retained by you.  
  25. You may not rent or lease the Software.  You may not 
  26. reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the 
  27. Software.
  28.  
  29.     NO WARRANTY.  ANY USE BY YOU OF THE SOFTWARE IS 
  30. AT YOUR OWN RISK.  THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED FOR USE "AS
  31. IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND.  TO THE MAXIMUM 
  32. EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MICROSOFT AND ITS SUPPLIERS 
  33. DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR 
  34. IMPLIED, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, IMPLIED 
  35. WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A 
  36. PARTICULAR PURPOSE. MICROSOFT IS NOT OBLIGATED TO 
  37. PROVIDE ANY UPDATES TO THE SOFTWARE.
  38.  
  39.     NO LIABILITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.  In no 
  40. event shall Microsoft or its suppliers be liable for 
  41. any damages whatsoever (including, without limitation, 
  42. incidental, direct, indirect special and consequential 
  43. damages, damages for loss of business profits, 
  44. business interruption, loss of business information, 
  45. or other pecuniary loss) arising out of the use or 
  46. inability to use this Microsoft product, even if 
  47. Microsoft has been advised of the possibility of such 
  48. damages.  Because some states/countries do not allow 
  49. the exclusion or limitation of liability for 
  50. consequential or incidental damages, the above 
  51. limitation may not apply to you.

  53.     INDEMNIFICATION BY YOU.  If you distribute the 
  54. Software in violation of this Agreement, you agree to 
  55. indemnify, hold harmless and defend Microsoft and its 
  56. suppliers from and against any claims or lawsuits, 
  57. including attorney's fees that arise or result from 
  58. the use or distribution of the Software in violation 
  59. of this Agreement.

  61. U.S. GOVERNMENT RESTRICTED RIGHTS
  62.  
  63. The Software and documentation are provided with 
  64. RESTRICTED RIGHTS.  Use, duplication, or disclosure by 
  65. the Government is subject to restrictions as set forth 
  66. in subparagraph (c)(1)(ii) of The Rights in Technical 
  67. Data and Computer Software clause at DFARS 252.227-
  68. 7013 or subparagraphs (c)(1) and (2) of the Commercial 
  69. Computer Software - Restricted Rights at 48 CFR 
  70. 52.227-19, as applicable.  Manufacturer is Microsoft 
  71. Corporation/One Microsoft Way/Redmond, WA  98052-6399.

  73. If you acquired this product in the United States, 
  74. this Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of 
  75. Washington.
