- MEMORY
- ======
-
- Manic Karts makes best use of whatever memory your machine has available,
- and use up to 16MB of ram. If you are playing Manic Karts on a machine
- with less than 16MB, then the number of kart animations will be reduced
- to fit in the space available.
-
- If you are running SMARTDRV, this uses memory that could be used by Manic
- Karts, so it is a good idea to disable SMARTDRV by removing it from your
- autoexec.bat file. Edit the file autoexec.bat, and type the word 'rem' at
- the beginning of the line which contains SMARTDRV. Remember to include a
- space after the word 'rem'. If you want to re-instate SMARTDRV, then simply
- remove the word 'rem' to leave the file autoexec.bat in its original state.

- SOUND
- =====
-
- For those of you who are able to connect their sound card to a Pro-Logic
- Surround Sound decoder, this is highly recommended, as you will then be
- able to appreciate fully the 3D panning of the sound effects.
-
- -------------------------------------------------------------------
-
- That's about it. Happy Karting...
