Kid's Clicks!
Kid's Clicks began as a program for my daughter; Allie. She enjoyed playing with the program, and so did we. With a few adjustments from the original version, "Kid's Clicks!" was born. Kid's Clicks is for fun, for education, for memories, or for anything anyone desires it to be.
The idea is simple: You have a picture which you click on to hear sounds play; sounds which are associated with the places on the picture where you click. Part of the fun is finding all the places where sounds are and all the sounds you can hear.
Kid's Clicks uses modules. Complete instructions are included to help you create your own modules. Includes source code for interested programmers.
Requires System 7 & 256 Colors. FREEWARE.
Programs For Macintosh Software Developers:
Page Flipper
Page Flipper - For Macintosh C programmers. This is a demonstration of a control to simulate page flipping. Source code is included, written in THINK C, v7.x. Easily adapted for use in your program. Easy to read code for those learning to use QuickDraw. Update eliminates unneeded code accidentally included in 1.0, and makes code compatible with CodeWarrior & Universal Headers. FREEWARE.
MultiWin TE/Undo/S_H Demo
This code (THINK C 7.x, w/o Universal Headers) demonstrates a number of things, but primarily, I wanted to write example code to do the following things:
Handle multiple windows/dialogs
Handle the Edit menu, especially Undo
Handle multiple edit text items in multiple modeless dialogs.
Create a modeless version of Show_help,
a program in the public domain from James Walker.
Provide some useful routines to use along these lines.
All source code may be extracted and used freely. Permission to distribute modified Show_help given by James Walker. The original version of Show_help is included in this archive. FREEWARE.
Menu Viewer
This small program is probably not going to catch everyone's interest, it is very simple. If you don't use MacApp, or some other type of user interface code generator, I think this program is just handy to have around. You just pop into Menu Viewer your application's menu resources with ResEdit, including submenus, and update the 'MBAR' & 'View' resources, then you can quickly and easily preview how they look and feel by launching Menu Viewer. FREEWARE.
