  13. Tippy fⁿhrt ListTips in Windows 95 ein.
  14. Listentips sind Σhnlich wie Tooltips, jedoch erscheinen sie, wenn die
  15. Maus sich ⁿber einem Listeneintrag in Detailansicht befindet und eine
  16. Spalte nicht breit genug ist, den gesamten Text anzuzeigen. ListTips
  17. erscheinen auch, wenn der Eintrag in einer Baumstruktur (Tree view)
  18. nicht vollstΣndig sichtbar ist.
  19. Nach Installation von Tippy steht dieses Feature automatisch in allen
  20. 32-Bit-Programmen zur Verfⁿgung, die das Win95 UI verwenden, z.B.
  21. Explorer, Backup, Registrierungseditor und andere.

  33. INSTALLATION

  35. Diese Software wird in Form eines selbstentpackenden Archives
  36. geliefert Der ⁿbliche Dateiname ist TIPPY@.EXE
  37.  
  38. Um die Software zu installieren, gehen Sie wie folgt vor:

  40. - Legen Sie im Explorer einen neuen Ordner als Arbeitsverzeichnis an.
  41. - Kopieren Sie die Archivdatei in diesen Ordner.
  42. - Doppelklicken Sie die Archivdatei, um die darin enthaltenen Dateien
  43.   zu entpacken.
  44. - Doppelklicken Sie auf die neue Datei SETUP.EXE, um sie auszufⁿhren.
  45. - Das Setupprogramm kopiert die ben÷tigten Dateien.
  46. - Um die Installation abzuschlie▀en, mu▀ Ihr Computer gegebenfalls
  47.   neu gestartet werden. BestΣtigen Sie die entsprechende Meldung des
  48.   Setupprogrammes.

  50. DEINSTALLATION

  52. Um diese Software von Ihrem Computer wieder zu entfernen, gehen
  53. Sie wie folgt vor:

  55. - ╓ffnen Sie den Ordner Systemsteuerung (im Startmenⁿ unter
  56.   Einstellungen).
  57. - Doppelklicken Sie das Symbol Software.
  58. - WΣhlen Sie die Seite Installation/Deinstallation.
  59. - Suchen Sie in der angezeigten Liste den Eintrag "Tippy fⁿr
  60.   Windows 95", doppelklicken Sie auf diesen Eintrag und bestΣtigen
  61.   Sie die Sicherheitsabfrage.
  62. - Um die Deinstallation abzuschlie▀en, mu▀ Ihr Computer neu gestartet
  63.   werden. BestΣtigen Sie die entsprechende Meldung.

  67. INTRODUCTION AND SETUP INSTRUCTIONS

  69. Tippy introduces ListTips to Windows 95.
  70. ListTips are similar to ToolTips, but they appear whenever the mouse
  71. is on a list item in Report view and the column is not wide enough
  72. to display the full text. ListTips also appear on Tree views if the
  73. item text is not fully visible.
  74. After Tippy is installed, this feature is automatically available to
  75. all 32-bit-apps that use the Windows 95 common control UI, e.g.
  76. Explorer, Backup, Registry Editor and more.

  89. INSTALLATION

  91. This software is shipped as a self-extracting archive. The usual
  92. file name is TIPPY@.EXE

  94. To install this software:

  96. - Create a new folder as working directory.
  97. - Copy the archive to this folder.
  98. - Double-click the archive to decompress it. This will create several
  99.   new files.
  100. - Double-click the file SETUP.EXE to execute it.
  101. - Setup will copy necessary files.
  102. - To complete the installation, it might be necessary to reboot your
  103.   computer. Confirm the corresponding message.

  105. DEINSTALLATION

  107. To remove this software from your computer:

  109. - Open the Control Panel (on the Start menu choose Settings, Control
  110.   Panel).
  111. - Double-click the icon "Add/Remove programs".
  112. - Search in the list for the item "Tippy for Windows 95",
  113.   double-click it and confirm the security request.
  114. - To complete removing, it is necessary to reboot your computer.
  115.   Confirm the corresponding message.
