- Place this program in your startup folder. The Command Line in the shortcut
- should read "C:\WINDOWS\SWITCHER.EXE /R" Be sure to use the '/R' Option.
- The '/R' Option lets the program know to switch to the next wallpaper.
- The first time you run the program it will take you to a setup screen where
- you may do the following:
-
- Add/Remove Files from your list of Wallpaper.
- View Files before you add them to the Wallpaper list.
- Save YOU MUST SAVE after you add wallpaper or it will not work!
-
- The Wallpaper will now switch to the next one on the list you specified when
- windows is restarted.
-
- If you wish to modify your list run switcher again without the '/R' Option.
- You may also click on the Link in the Startup Folder to switch to the next
- wallpaper without exiting windows.
-
- Data for this program is stored in switcher.dat. The program should set
- up the file and maintain it fine, but if there is a problem it should look
- like this:
-
- Number of Wallpapers in the list
- Number of the Current Wallpaper in the list
- List of Wallpaper
-
- FUTURE VERSIONS
- The only thing that I am planning on adding to Switcher at this time is the\
- ability to specify if the file is tiled or centered.
- Currently it will display the new Wallpaper as tiled or centered based on
- what it was already set as.
-
- I have a hard time believing that this program could cause any kind of
- problems on your computer, but if it does I will not be held responsible.
- But if for some reason it does, please let me know so I can fix it.
-
- This program is completely free. There is no nag screen or anything, so use
- it all you want. Although I am a poor college student so if you would like
- to send me money please feel free to do so. If for some reason someone out
- there is crazy enough to WANT to send me money then email me for my address.
- I would include it here but it changes too often.
