  9. * WHAT DOES IT DO
  10.  
  11. Windows 95 has a set of 'hidden' programs and logs for the power
  12. user.  RevIt gives you easy access to them by just the press of
  13. a button.  Depending on your installation of Windows 95, it is
  14. possible that some programs or logs are not available.  RevIt gives
  15. you access to :

  17. - The Registry Editor
  18. - The System Files Editor
  19. - Make win3.x programs compatible with Win95
  20. - The tip of the day
  21. - The File Manager
  22. - The Program Manager
  23. - The Task Manager (new in RevIt V1.1)
  24. - The OLE Packager
  25. - The Boot log
  26. - The Detected Hardware log
  27. - The Setup Log
  28. - The Scandisk Log

  32. Although RevIt itself shouldn't do any harm to your system, messing
  33. around with the Registry Editor and the system files can !  So only
  34. use the Registry Editor and edit the System files if you know what 
  35. you're doing.

  37. * INSTALLATION NOTES
  38.  
  39. Common system file you need to run RevIt :
  40. VB40032.DLL  Probably you already have it in your system directory,
  41. if not, search it on the net or on a good BBS (like S9 BBS;)
  42.  
  43. Copy contents of the archive into a directory on your harddisk and
  44. make a shortcut to revit.exe.
  45.  
  46. RevIt looks at its best on a display with at least 256 colors.

  50. V0.1  9-3-1997
  51.         Beta version.  Never released.  Looked rather clunky.
  52. V1.0  10-3-1997
  53.         First release.  Added an 'about' button and polished it up
  54.         (made an Icon, changed some properties).  Even tried to make
  55.         a decent readme.txt. 
  56. V1.1  11-3-1997
  57.         Added Task Manager.  Changed focus setting on started
  58.         programs.  Now focus will not stay with RevIt, but will be
  59.         passed on to the newly started program.  Changed the colour
  60.         of the formerly black square around the 'finetune system' 
  61.         into red (as a warning).
