  6. Skratchit Secure Delete is supported on the following platforms:

  14. Skratchit is distributed as shareware and, subject to the licence agreement
  15. you are permitted to use this software for evaluation purposes
  16. without charge for a period of 30 days.  If you use this software
  17. after the 30 day evaluation period a registration fee of รบ10-00 is
  18. required.  Payments must be in UK pounds Sterling, either in the form
  19. of a cheque drawn on a UK bank, or an international money order, and
  20. should be sent to:

  33. a registered copy of the latest version of Skratchit Secure Delete.

  35. Installation
  36.  
  37. The package is normally supplied as a self - extracting zip file. Simply copy 
  38. the file into an empty directory and execute the file to generate a setup disk.
  39. Click on setup.exe and respond to the questions to install the package.

  41. Use of Skratchit Secure Delete
  42.  
  43. Skratchit cannot be user-friendly to other users and tasks on the system. 
  44. It is highly recommended that for any of the more advanced operations, 
  45. such as deleting all temporary files, overcommitting the swapfile or
  46. deleting empty space, all other tasks are closed down before starting
  47. Skratchit.

  49. When cleaning the swapfile or deleting empty space the system will run
  50. low on resurces, and may display an error message such as "The 
  51. System is Running Low on Virtual Memory". Such messages are to be
  52. expected, and should be acknowledged. The appearance of such a message
  53. does not mean that Skratchit has failed.
