  17.  Non-licensed users are granted a limited license to use E-MailZIP on a 30-day trial basis for the purpose of determining whether E-MailZIP is suitable for their needs.  The use of E-MailZIP, except for the initial 30-day trial, requires registration.  The use of unlicensed copies of E-MailZIP, outside of the initial 30-day trial, by any person, business, corporation, government agency or any other entity is strictly prohibited.

  19.  A license for personal use that grants the user the right to use E-MailZIP on one computer may be purchased. A commercial license requires sufficient licensing equal to the number of users, or the quantity of workstations that access the software, whichever is smaller.

  21.  No one may modify or patch the E-MailZIP executable files in any way, including but not limited to decompiling, disassembling, or otherwise reverse engineering the programs.

  23.  A limited license is granted to copy and distribute E-MailZIP only for the trial use of others, subject to the above limitations, and also the following:

  25.   1)    E-MailZIP and all of its release files must be
  26.         copied in unmodified form, complete with the file
  27.         containing this license information.

  29.   2)    No fee, charge, or other compensation may be requested
  30.         or accepted, except as authorized below:

  32.         A) Operators of electronic bulletin board systems
  33.            (sysops) may make E-MailZIP available for down-
  34.            loading only as long as the above conditions are
  35.            met.  An overall or time-dependent charge for the
  36.            use of the bulletin board system is permitted as
  37.            long as there is not a specific charge for the
  38.            download of E-MailZIP.

  40.         B) Vendors of user-supported or shareware software
  41.            approved by the ASP may distribute E-MailZIP,
  42.            subject to the above conditions, without specific
  43.            permission.

  45.         C) Non-profit user groups may distribute copies of
  46.            the E-MailZIP diskette to their members,
  47.            subject to the above conditions, without specific
  48.            permission.  Non-profit groups may collect a disk
  49.            duplication fee not to exceed five dollars.

  51.   LIMITED WARRANTY

  53.   JE SOFTWARE AND PEPSOFTWARE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES,
  54.   EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED
  55.   TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR
  56.   A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, WITH RESPECT TO THE SOFTWARE OR
  57.   DOCUMENTATION. SHOULD THE PROGRAM PROVE DEFECTIVE, THE
  58.   PURCHASER ASSUMES THE RISK OF PAYING THE ENTIRE COST OF ALL
  59.   NECESSARY SERVICING, REPAIR, OR CORRECTION AND ANY INCIDENTAL,
  60.   SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.
  61.   IN NO EVENT WILL JE SOFTWARE OR PEPSOFTWARE, BE LIABLE FOR ANY
  62.   DAMAGES WHATSOEVER (INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION TO DAMAGES
  63.   FOR LOSS OF BUSINESS PROFITS, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, LOSS OF
  64.   BUSINESS INFORMATION AND THE LIKE) ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR
  65.   THE INABILITY TO USE THIS PRODUCT EVEN IF JE SOFTWARE AND
  66.   PEPSOFTWARE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH
  67.   DAMAGES. IN PARTICULAR, JE SOFTWARE AND PEPSOFTWARE SHALL
  68.   HAVE NO LIABILITY FOR ANY DATA STORED OR PROCESSED WITH THIS
  69.   SOFTWARE, INCLUDING THE COSTS OF RECOVERING SUCH DATA.  AS A
  70.   RESULT, THIS SOFTWARE AND DOCUMENTATION ARE LICENSED AS IS,
  71.   AND YOU, THE LICENSEE, ARE ASSUMING THE ENTIRE RISK AS TO ITS
  72.   QUALITY AND PERFORMANCE.
