- Fisher-Price(tm) Wild Western Town. With seven fantastic play areas,
- children will blaze a new trail of adventure with every visit.
- Fun activityies, toe tappin' western tunes, and a hunt for the
- outlaw, Bandit Bob, will keep young whippersnappers busy for hours.

- GAMEPLAY INFORMATION:

- - To play, double-click on West95.exe

- This demo contains one playable activity from Great Adventures by
- Fisher-Price(tm) Wild Western Town. From the main town,
- click on The Wanted Poster building to play. You can click on
- the other buildings for screenshots of other activities found
- in the game!

- WACKY WANTED POSTERS:
-
- Young deputies-in-training will laugh themselves silly making their
- own wanted posters! Click the Wanted Poster hanging in the Sheriff's
- Office to begin. Design a poster by clicking on the icons.

- Hat: Click repeatedly to see the hat choices, or choose no hat.
- Head: Change the head
- Body: Change the body
- Broom: Clear the poster

- Next, choose from a crazy assortment of stickers! Just click
- on the big arrow buttons below the stickers to see all of the
- differnt sitckers. Then, click and drag them onto your poster.

- When you're finished making a poster, click on the red arrows
- at the top to make and save another one. You can make as many as
- five!

- Please note: Printing is disabled in this demo.

- COMPAQ COMPUTERS:

- To avoid problems when running the Fisher-Price« Wild Western
- Town Demo on Compaq machines while using the Compaq wallpaper,
- we suggest that the wallpaper be turned off or set to NONE.
- To change your wallpaper, go to Control Panel, Display.
- Refer to your Windows documentation for further details.

- If you still encounter a problem, try changing your display
- settings to 256 colors. See CHANGING YOUR COLOR DEPTH below.

- CHANGING YOUR COLOR DEPTH

- The Fisher-Price« Wild Western Town Demo was designed to run
- in 256-colors.If you experience problems running any part of
- the Demo, try changing your display settings to a higher color depth.
-
- To increase the number of colors in Windows 95:
-
- 1. From the START menu, go to SETTINGS
- 2. From the SETTINGS menu, select CONTROL PANEL
- 3. From CONTROL PANEL, select DISPLAY
- 4. A DISPLAY PROPERTIES dialogue box will appear
- 5. Select the SETTINGS tab at the top of the Display Properties
- dialogue box
- 6. Go the COLOR option, and increase the number of colors

- OPTIMIZING PERFORMANCE:

- On some PC configurations, the speed of the Demo may appear
- slow. To optimize the performance of your PC and increase the
- speed at which these demos run, try these helpful tips.
-
- 1. Turn OFF any virus scanning programs and screen savers that
- might be running.
-
- 2. Turn OFF ALL applications except for the 'Windows explorer'
- If you are running an alternate desktop, leave only your desktop
- program running.

- 3. Set screen resolution to 640x480 [Refer to your Windows guide
- on Running the Setup Program or Setting Up Windows]
-
- 4. Set the number of colors to be displayed to 256 (some color
- cards may require colors to be set at 65,536; 65,535; 64K; or
- 65K, depending on vendor) [Refer to the section above title
- CHANGING YOUR COLOR DEPTH].

- If the suggestions above still do not result in satisfactory
- performance, you may have a fragmented disk. Use your Windows 95
- Disk Defragmenter to optimize your hard drive.

- OPTIMIZE YOUR CD-ROM ACCESS PERFORMANCE

- 1. From the "My Computer" desktop icon, select "Control Panel".
- 2. Select "System".
- 3. Select "Performance".
- 4. Select "File System".
- 5. Select "CD-ROM".
- 6. For optimum CD access times, change the supplemental cache to "Large".
- 7. Be certain that the Optimize access pattern is appropriate for your
- CD-ROM. This should be no lower than "Double-speed Drives".
- 8. If any changes were made, select "Apply", then restart Windows.

- INCREASE THE AVAILABLE MEMORY FOR WINDOWS« 95 PROGRAMS TO RUN

- 1. From the "My Computer" desktop icon, select "Control Panel".
