  5. This file contains last-minute information about 
  6. HyperBlade that could not be included in the regular 
  7. Help files.

  10. Multiplayer Gameplay Requirements
  11. ---------------------------------
  12. The install guide states that in order to play a 
  13. multiplayer game, you must have installed HyperBlade 
  14. using the Medium Install or Best Performance option.
  15. Actually, you can play multiplayer HyperBlade with any
  16. install option.

  18. To host a network game, you always need the HyperBlade 
  19. CD in your CD-ROM drive. 
  20.  
  21. To join a multiplayer game, you need the HyperBlade CD 
  22. if you have installed using the Minimum or Medium 
  23. Install options. You can join a network game without 
  24. the HyperBlade CD ONLY if you have installed using the 
  25. Best Performance option.

  27. To join a network game of HyperBlade without the CD, 
  28. navigate to the folder where HyperBlade is installed 
  29. (the default location is C:\Program Files\Activision
  30. \HyperBlade), and double-click on HyperX.exe to start 
  31. the game. Click the Players Only tunnel. Select Multi 
  32. Player in the Locker Room. Follow the instructions in
  33. the Status box to join a network game.
