  7. License Agreement

  9. You should carefully read the following terms and conditions
  10. before using this software.  Unless you have a different license
  11. agreement signed by Proxy Systems Ltd. your use of this
  12. software you indicates your acceptance of this license agreement
  13. and warranty.

  15. Registered Version

  17. One registered copy of SpaceDaemon may either be used by a single
  18. person who uses the software personally on one or more computers,
  19. or installed on a single workstation used nonsimultaneously by
  20. multiple people, but not both.
  21.  
  22. You may access the registered version of SpaceDaemon through a network,
  23. provided that you have obtained individual licenses for the
  24. software covering all workstations that will access the software
  25. through the network.  For instance, if 8 different workstations
  26. will access SpaceDaemon on the network, each workstation must have its
  27. own SpaceDaemon license, regardless of whether they use SpaceDaemon at
  28. different times or concurrently.

  32. This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta.

  34. Disclaimer of Warranty

  36. THIS SOFTWARE AND THE ACCOMPANYING FILES ARE SOLD "AS IS" AND
  37. WITHOUT WARRANTIES AS TO PERFORMANCE OF MERCHANTABILITY OR ANY
  38. OTHER WARRANTIES WHETHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. Because of the
  39. various hardware and software environments into which SpaceDaemon may
  40. be put, NO WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE IS
  41. OFFERED.

  43. Good data processing procedure dictates that any program be
  44. thoroughly tested with non-critical data before relying on it.
  45. The user must assume the entire risk of using the program.  ANY
  46. LIABILITY OF THE SELLER WILL BE LIMITED EXCLUSIVELY TO PRODUCT
  47. REPLACEMENT OR REFUND OF PURCHASE PRICE.

  52. Evaluation and Registration

  54. This is not free software.  You are hereby licensed to use this
  55. software for evaluation purposes without charge for a period of 21
  56. days.  If you use this software after the 21 day evaluation period
  57. a registration fee of $10 is required.  If the registered version is 
  58. delivered by postal service an additional per unit fee of $10 is required.

  73. in violation of Canadian and international copyright laws.

  77. Provided that you verify that you are distributing the Shareware
  78. Version (select About from the SpaceDaemon Help menu to check) you are
  79. hereby licensed to make as many copies of the Shareware version of
  80. this software and documentation as you wish; give exact copies of
  81. the original Shareware version to anyone; and distribute the
  82. Shareware version of the software and documentation in its
  83. unmodified form via electronic means.  There is no charge for any
  84. of the above.

  86. You are specifically prohibited from charging, or requesting
  87. donations, for any such copies, however made; and from
  88. distributing the software and/or documentation with other products
  89. (commercial or otherwise) without prior written permission, with
  90. one exception:  Disk Vendors approved by the Association of
