- This is a collection of educational maze games, developed by
- Hans Zantema, Dijnselweg 146, 3705 ER Zeist, The Netherlands,
- email: hansz@cs.ruu.nl.

- All of these programs may be freely distributed without limitations.
- Comments, or suggestions for extensions are highly appreciated.

- The programs run under Windows 3.xx or higher. They are made using
- Visual Basic 3.0, and they need the runtime library
- vbrun300.dll. This is included in this unzipped file package;
- if it has already been installed on your system you may remove it
- for saving disk space.

- One way to start them is by double clicking on the corresponding
- .exe file as you will find in File Management.

- You can choose from the following five executable files:

- MAZEGAME.EXE covers all four games, starting with a menu in which
- you can choose which of the four you want to play.

- The four separate games are

- MAZE.EXE Every time you play this a new maze is designed, in
- which only one way to the exit exists. Six levels and
- two lay-out styles can be chosen. In particular suitable
- for children below 10 years old.

- BLOK.EXE This game called "Block Maze" consists of 28 intellectual
- puzzles based on mazes with extra obstacles. Definitely
- not only for children.

- MICE.EXE The cat has to catch 10 mice in a maze, but the mice
- are running away. A combination of reaction and a clever
- strategy is required to arrive at a good score. Allows
- three distinct levels.

- SNAKE.EXE The snake grows and grows, except when eating an apple.
- Based on an old theme. Can be played in 5 different speeds.
