  3. This file provides step-by-step instructions for installing the Claris Home Page application and associated files on your Macintosh.

  5. Important:   The instructions given here assume that you╒re familiar with standard mouse techniques such as clicking and dragging. If you need more information about mouse techniques, or working with disks, see the documentation that came with your computer.

  8. I.  System Requirements 
  9. To use Claris Home Page on a Macintosh, your system must meet the following minimum requirements: 
  10.   - Macintosh with 68020 processor and above or any Power Macintosh model 
  11.   - System 7.1 or later 
  12.   - 8 MB of available memory (RAM)

  15. II.  Installing on a Macintosh 
  16. You must use the Installer program to install the Claris Home Page application╤you can╒t copy the files to your hard disk by dragging the files to your desktop.  The Claris Home Page files are compressed within the Installer program.

  18. To install Claris Home Page:
  19.  
  20. 1.  Double-click the Claris Home Page Installer icon.
  21.  
  22. The Claris Home Page license agreement appears.
  23.  
  24. 2.  Read the license agreement and Click Accept to agree.
  25.  
  26. You see the Claris Home Page Installer dialog box.
  27.  
  28. 3.  Click Install.
  29.  
  30. The Installer begins copying files. A dialog box tells you what the Installer is doing. After all the files are installed, a final dialog box tells you the installation on your hard disk was successful.

  32. 4.  Click Quit.
