  7. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
  8.  
  9. To run The Greatest Paper Airplanes, you will need:
  10.  
  11.     * Windows 3.1 or higher
  12.     * 386SX-16 or higher compatible PC
  13.     * MS-DOS 3.1 or higher
  14.     * 2MB RAM (4MB recommended)
  15.     * 2MB Free disk space
  16.     * Microsoft Mouse or compatible pointing device
  17.  
  18. INSTALLATION
  19.  
  20. To install the shareware version of The Greatest Paper Airplanes, simply
  21. follow the instuctions given below:
  22.  
  23. Step #1. Make a directory on your hard drive named GPA.  You may
  24.          name the directory anything you like, but we'll refer to
  25.          the installation directory as GPA later in this text.
  26.          You may use the Windows File Manager option File/Create
  27.          Directory... to do this -or- use the DOS command:
  28.  
  29.                 C:\>md gpa
  30.  
  31. Step #2. Log to the new directory you just created using the Windows
  32.          File Manager -or- use the DOS command:
  33.  
  34.                 C:\>cd \gpa
  35.  
  36. Step #3. Copy the file named GPA.ZIP from the diskette over to
  37.          your hard drive and put it into the directory you created
  38.          in Step #1 above.  Again, you may use the Windows File
  39.          Manager -or- the DOS command:
  40.  
  41.                 C:\>copy a:\gpa.zip c:\gpa
  42.  
  43. Step #4. Extract the files from GPA.ZIP.  The GPA.ZIP file is a PKZip
  44.          version 2.04g type zip file, simply run the PKUNZIP program in
  45.          order to extract the files.  Use the DOS command:
  46.  
  47.                 C:\GPA>pkunzip gpa.zip
  48.  
  49. Step #5. Once the files have been extracted from GPA.ZIP, you may delete
  50.          the GPA.ZIP file from your hard drive.  Use the Windows File
  51.          Manager -or- the DOS command:
  52.  
  53.                 C:\GPA>del gpa.zip
  54.  
  55. Step #6. Configure The Greatest Paper Airplanes for use with Windows
  56.          using the instructions given below.
  57.  
  58. CONFIGURATION
  59.  
  60. To configure The Greatest Paper Airplanes, simply follow the
  61. instructions given below:
  62.  
  63. Setp #1. Run Windows if it is not already running, or if you are in
  64.          a DOS window under Windows already, simply return to the
  65.          Program Manager.
  66.  
  67. Step #2. From the Windows Program Manager or File Manager, pulldown
  68.          the File menu option and select the Run... option.  Run the
  69.          program named:
  70.  
  71.                 GROUPAIR.EXE
  72.  
  73.          which may be found in the directory you created for the
  74.          program earlier.  This program builds a Program Manager
  75.          group for The Greatest Paper Airplanes and puts icons into
  76.          it.  If using the File Manager, you may also simply double-
  77.          click on GROUPAIR.EXE to run the program.

  80. RUNNING THE PROGRAM
  81.  
  82. There are several icons in The Greatest Paper Airplanes group,
  83. they are:
  84.  
  85. Greatest Paper Airplanes
  86.   Runs the program.
  87.  
  88. On-Line Help
  89.   Runs the Windows help system for The Greatest Paper Airplanes.
  90.   This same help may be found within the program too.
  91.  
  92. Ordering Information
  93.   Gives you information on ordering The Greatest Paper Airplanes.
  94.   Ordering is simple, just call our 1-800 number and have a major
  95.   credit card ready!

  97. Release Notes
  98.   Lets you view release notes and other late breaking news about
  99.   The Greatest Paper Airplanes.
  100.  
  101. License & Warranty
  102.   Lets you view the software license and warranty information.
  103.  
  104. Remove GPA
  105.   Removes The Greatest Paper Airplanes from your system.  This
  106.   program will delete the program files, clean up your WIN.INI
  107.   file, and delete the Program Manager group and icons for The
  108.   Greatest Paper Airplanes.  Note, after this program has been
  109.   run, you must manually delete the GPA directory and a file
  110.   named REMOVAIR.EXE which resides in the GPA directory.  Sorry
  111.   for the inconvenience, but at least we did 99% of the work
  112.   for you...
