  21. -Queue management has been enhanced in several ways:
  22.  -Startup queue may be set by use of a command-line argument.
  23.  -The .QUE file extension may be "associated" with WWPlus to
  24.   allow starting the program by clicking on a .QUE file in the
  25.   file manager or an icon for that file.  Use "File...Associate."
  26.  -If a second instance of WWPlus is started with a .QUE file
  27.   specified, a message box will allow the user to choose which
  28.   instance to run.  An easy way to change queues by using
  29.   associated icons.
  30. -LZW compression technology used in GIF now licensed from Unisys.
  31. -disabled com port monitor when running Windows NT.  The com
  32.  port monitor caused problems, and is not necessary in a
  33.  pre-emptive environment.
  34. -fixed bug which prevented positioning of .ICO files by dragging.
  35. -fixed bug: Display order menu item was not changing display order icon.
  36. -fixed bug: When screen saver set to Restore Previous wallpaper, the next
  37.  Windows session would still get the last screen saver image as wallpaper.

  42. -fixed bug that caused program to crash when attempting to
  43.  access a drive that is not available or not ready.

  45.  to not be released by the multipurpose icon.
  46. -installation now removes several files from the Windows directory
  47.  and places them in a user-defined directory.  The only file left
  48.  in the Windows directory is WWPSAVR.SCR; necessary to get Windows
  49.  to put it in the screen saver list.
  50. -If the screen saver starts and WWPlus is not running, it will
  51.  start WWPlus.  If something prevents WWPlus from starting an error
  52.  message will be generated.
  53. -WWPLUS.INI no longer used - program directly uses .QUE files so
  54.  Queue save function and AutoSave queue no longer necessary.  There
  55.  was a problem under Windows NT and some Windows 3.11 systems when
  56.  exiting Windows with WWPlus running and AutoSave on.
  57. -WWPLUS.TIF no longer used to store thumbnails.  A .TIF file with
  58.  the same name as the queue is stored in the same directory as the
  59.  queue; it does not have to be rebuilt when switching between queues.

  120.  changed, wallpaper removed, and program exited, all without
  121.  bringing up the main screen.
  122. -Added preference item for Auto Save.  When enabled, the
  123.  program will not prompt before saving changes to a queue
  124.  at program exit and when queues are being changed.

  162. -Added support for JPEG compressed files (.JPG extension).
  163.  used only for true color 24-bit files, JPEG is a "lossy"
  164.  format.  It offers small file size with the tradeoffs being
  165.  slow decompression and some loss of detail.  See the file

  167. -Fixed bug that caused too much memory use when non-BMP formats

  171. -Added Up/Down buttons to move a selection within the wallpaper

  177. -Added Preference menu new feature:  Minimized program icon
  178.  may be replaced by a small form that, when clicked, will change
  179.  the wallpaper immediately.  Pressing the spacebar when the form
  180.  has the focus will also cause a wallpaper change.  The form can
  181.  be placed anywhere on screen, and will remember its location.
  182. -Some improvements in queue handling, including Start New Queue
  183.  option.  The program now remembers directory for last queue used.

  187. These prior versions of WinWall and WinWall Plus are completely outdated.
  188.
