- INTRODUCTION
- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
-
- Documentation to accompany Jump can be found in the Windows help file
- JUMP.HLP. To access this, select Game/Help Contents from the menu in Jump.
-
- Jump is a simple drag-and-click game for Windows, based on a simple classic
- marbles game. Further description and instructions can be found in the
- help file.
-
- Jump was written by Steven Porter, and is entirely my own work. Jump was
- written using Turbo Pascal for Windows 1.5 from Borland. Jump is an
- ObjectWindows program. Portions of this software package are copyright to
- Borland International.
-
- The software provided within this package is provided on an "as is" basis
- and the author (Steven Porter) makes no warranty whatsoever regarding the
- product and specifically disclaims any implied warranty or liability of
- any kind.
-
- All trademarks are acknowledged.

- DISTRIBUTION
- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
-
- The complete package contained within the compressed file and is
- distributed as shareware. It is not free nor is it public domain. The
- copyright of the package is retained with the author (Steven Porter). This
- software can be evaluated for a limited period of 30 days. Afterwhich, if
- you intend to continue using it, you must register with the author (see the
- Windows help file for further information). You, the user, may freely
- distribute the compressed file, but the individual files contained within
- must not be distributed separately.
-
- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- INSTALLATION
- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
-
- The compressed file contains the following files:
-
- JUMP.EXE - Windows executable file
- JUMP.TXT - This text file
- JUMP.HLP - Windows help file
- JUMP.INI - Initialisation file
- PSUBS.DLL - Windows dynamic link library
- FILE_ID.DIZ - Brief description for BBS
- VENDOR.DOC - Vendor documentation
-
- All of the files should be located in one directory, with the exception
- of PSUBS.DLL which should be copied to the windows/system directory -
- however, this is not necessary. If you do copy the DLL file to the
- windows/system directory this may save some disk space because it will be
- used by other shareware programs I have written.
-
- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------

-
- I ask only a nominal fee for registration, so do the right thing and
- register. Registration is now available using CompuServe, and by credit
