  2. Welcome to the Terra Nova:Strike Force Centauri Demo                     
  3. ************************************************************

  5. This demo contains one heart-pounding mission that is not in
  6.  the shipping game. This is a mission designed specifically
  7.  for this demo! 
  8.  
  9. You must run setup before running the game. This will set up
  10.  Terra Nova to use your sound card. 
  11.  
  12. Terra Nova has known problems running under Win95. If you 
  13.  experience any, please boot under DOS and try again.
  14.

  17. USEFUL TIPS
  18.  
  19. - Right clicking on an object will acquire a target lock on
  20.   it.
  21.  
  22. - Pressing 'H' will bring up the help screen.
  23.  
  24. - Pressing 'O' will bring up the options panel. You can
  25.   change the resolution to 320x400 or change detail 
  26.   settings.
  27.  
  28. - Pressing 'G' or clicking in the upper left red box will
  29.   toggle between full-screen and half-screen modes.
  30.  
  31. - Pressing the Space Bar will activate your jump-jets. 
  32.   Watch your jump-jet fuel level in the upper right.  
  33.  
  34. - The Multipulsar has the longest weapon range.
  35.  
  36. - The Grenade launcher does plenty of damage, but watch the
  37.   ammo count.
  38.  
  39. - The Laser is a continuous-fire weapon, and has the lowest
  40.   travel time to your target.
  41.  
  42. - Smoke grenades provides cover. Beam weapons do not pass
  43.   through smoke.
  44.  
  45. - After your mission objectives are achieved, the dropship
  46.   will come to the pickup point.
  47.  
  48. - After the dropship has landed at the pickup point, press
  49.   return when you want to have the dropship pick you up.
  50.  
  51. - If you need to abort the mission, press CTRL-ESC.
  52.  
  53. - Friendly tip: Don't shoot the dropship; it won't be happy
  54.   with you.
  55.  
  56. - If you take enough damage, your video system will glitch 
  57.   (screen flicker/static/pop).
  58.  
  59. - If you get too close to the edge of the map, your mission
  60.   will end.  Your dropship pilot will warn you if you're
  61.   getting too far off of the mission area.
