  2. Mission data: Competence level required: Beginner.
  3.               Mission Type: Ground clearance.
  4.               Terrain: Rural - desert and scrubland.

  6.               Visibility level: Twilight.
  7.               Number of tanks under your command: One

  9. Scenario:
  10. A middle-eastern dictator has ordered the invasion of a neighbouring, 
  11. oil-producing country. Subsequently, large numbers of his troops have 
  12. crossed the border and are moving south toward the country's capital city. 
  13. Troops are also occupying the mountains around the border... 
  14.       If the invasion is successful, oil exports to the west will be 
  15. drastically effected. It is imperative then, that allied action is taken.
  16.  
  17. Objective:
  18. You are part of a N.A.T.O task force dispatched to secure the border and
  19. prevent further troops crossing into the invaded county. Your tank has been 
  20. isolated by a hostile air-strike and you must therefore proceed alone to an 
  21. enemy intelligence unit, situated near the border river, and destroy it. 
  22. This will allow allied troops to land undetected and continue the offensive.

  27.    Enemy troops have blockaded a bridge which provides key access to
  28.    the canyon pass leading to the intelligence unit.
  29.    Objective: Engage enemy vanguard and cross bridge. 
  30.    Targets: Two, possibly three, machine gun nests situated close to 
  31.             the bridge. 
  32.             T.72 Tank spotted in the vicinity.
  33.             All enemy troops should be considered potential targets.

  37.    Unconfirmed reconnaissance reports suggest possible alternative route 
  38.    via an adjoining canyon ... At present, details are unclear...

  44.     A small village opposite the bridge has been raided and occupied by 
  45.     enemy troops. Various vehicles are protecting the site, inc. T.72's
  46.     and jeeps (possibly carrying mounted machine guns).
  47.     Further north, a barricade has been erected to block the canyon pass.
  48.     objective: Liberate village from enemy occupation and clear the 
  49.     blockade.
